Guernsey and the International Community

Guernsey is within the same time zone as London and is in the sterling currency area. The islands’ relationship with Europe through Protocol Three of the Treaty of Accession means that the islands remain self governing but adhere to certain EU conduct such as subscribing to the European Court of Human Rights. This special relationship also allows the free movement of people and trade within Europe and the islands.  Excellent communication and travel connections make Guernsey easily accessible.
