Trust Corporation International hires four new trust officers and first trainee
Trust Corporation International has continued its expansion and hired its first school-leaver in a trainee role.
Three experienced trust officers have joined the company as it expands its staff headcount to 46 after several years of sustained growth and significant client wins.
Working closely with the client directors, Julie Phillips, Ian Ross and Carmen Fletcher will each be responsible for the administration of a portfolio of clients.
Mrs Phillips has more than 15 years’ experience as a trust officer in Guernsey and prior to that worked in the insurance sector and holds an International Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association (ICA).
Having worked in the finance sector since 2001, Mr Ross has experience of dealing with complex international corporate and private clients and holds an international Diploma from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA).
Ms Fletcher has previously worked for large, international trust companies and has 10 years’ experience of trust and company administration.
Louis Graham completed his A Levels at the Grammar School Sixth Form Centre last year and joined the company as a trainee trust officer. He will undergo a structured training programme with the company.
Trust Corporation International’s managing director, Amit Taylor, said: “Our business model is based on our ability to deal with complex matters and provide the highest level of client service and Julie, Ian and Carmen are all going to add to that with their experience and quality.
“Hiring Louis is an exciting step for us and the trainee role was created as part of our long-term resourcing plan. I’d like to welcome all four new members of staff to the team.”
All three new trust officers hold the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma in International Trust Management.
