Michael has specialised in trust law and tends to deal with Trust Corporation International’s more complex trust matters. He is the main point of contact for people considering difficult trust issues and contemplating litigation against former trustees or third parties.
He trained and worked as a solicitor in London and Guernsey during which time he acted for many international based trust companies in advising them of their duties and responsibilities, as well as providing advice to individual trustees and beneficiaries.
Michael has also developed expertise in managing property holding and development structures, drawing on his training in the field of contentious and non-contentious construction law.
Michael was involved in the management and marketing of commercial enterprises before qualifying as a lawyer. He is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales, the Guernsey International Legal Association and is currently studying for membership of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Solicitors.
Michael has worked in conjunction with various local and international trust specialists and offers a practical and technically competent view of these difficult situations.
