Prior to joining Trust Corporation International in 2018, Catja worked as a tax associate at the London office of a large U.S. law firm, advising on U.S. and international tax planning for individuals, trusts and estates. Catja is a legal officer who assists the team with the management of trust and corporate structures. She is also part of the U.S. team looking after U.S. related matters, involving regular travel to the U.S.
Catja completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College where she graduated cum laude. In 2011, after earning a law degree from Boston College Law School, Catja completed a two-year clerkship at the Massachusetts Superior Court. In 2014, she went on to receive a LLM in Taxation from New York University. Catja is licensed to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts. She has been named on the 2019 eprivateclient “Channel Island Top 35 Under 35” list of private wealth practitioners.
